Artistic Cycling, in a few words
What it does
The Artistic Cycling is the tubular for artistic cycling, the indoor trick-riding discipline. Its constraints have nothing to do with the road's: the bike moves very slowly, often stationary or balanced, and constantly changes its point of support.
The round profile
The tread is rounded, with no pronounced shoulder. That lets you move from one angle to the next without a hard spot: the wheel tips over progressively, the figure flows. A flat profile, like a road tubular's, would catch on the edge as it passes.
The indoor compound
A specific blend that grips on parquet without leaving a black mark — a requirement of sports halls, and a condition for being accepted in competition. 210/315 TPI casing, pressure from 8 to 16 bar. In 26 × 1 and 26 × 1 1/8.
