Elite Prima, in a few words
What it does
The Elite Prima applies to the tubular what Tufo has developed on its tubeless race tyres: it is the tubular counterpart of the Comtura Prima. 220 g in 25 mm, pressure up to 10 bar, for road competition.
The compounds
Two compounds work together: a casing impregnated with soft Low Modulus that follows the relief of the road, and a Grip Silica tread that grips in the wet. The combination lowers rolling resistance — a tyre that follows the road loses less energy than one that jumps over it — and gains in precision of line.
