The sealant — which velox.fr sells as “Liquide Anti-Crevaison Tufo — Tubeless Ready” — is used to fit Tufo TR tyres and then to protect them as you ride: its structure lets it reach a puncture quickly and seal it, even the widest. Tubeless Ready sealant, in a few words
What it is for
This is the liquid that makes a tubeless setup airtight and seals punctures as you ride. In the shop it is called "Liquide Anti-Crevaison Tufo — Tubeless Ready". It is used first for fitting — it seals the micro-leaks between tyre and rim — then for protection throughout the tyre's life.
What sets it apart
Its structure lets it reach the puncture quickly and seal it, even on large holes that many sealants do not handle. On a tyre inflated to 2 bar, air escapes fast: what matters is not only the ability to plug, but the speed at which the liquid gets to the right spot.
The sizes
50 ml for one wheel, 220 ml for a full set with a usage margin, 1 litre for the workshop. Valve key supplied: unscrew the core, inject through the valve, refit, inflate. The liquid dries out over time — check every three to six months depending on the season.
