Dry Plus, in a few words
What it does
The Dry Plus is the tubular for fast, dry courses — and, less obviously, for sandy, snowy or frozen ones. These surfaces have one thing in common: a tall knob finds nothing to bite into and only slows you down.
The tread
A thin, dense centre strip that rolls without drag, and side knobs that take over as soon as the bike leans. On sand or packed snow, this continuous strip floats instead of digging in; on ice, the wide contact patch is the best you can do.
The two casings
Standard 60/90 TPI (370 g) or Flexus 210/315 TPI (340 g), more supple and lighter. 32 mm section, soft, high shock-absorption compound.
