What it does
The Elite Primus is the top-end version of the Primus: the all-round race tubular, for all conditions except deep mud. 400/400 TPI casing, 380 g in 33 mm.
The tread
A self-cleaning centre strip and pronounced shoulder knobs for cornering stability — the proven Primus pattern, here fitted on the most supple casing in the cyclo-cross catalogue.
The compounds
A soft Low Modulus compound that absorbs shocks and follows the terrain, combined with a Grip Silica tread for grip on greasy, damp ground. Standard puncture protection. Black or tan sidewalls, up to 3 bar.
