The Tufo technology in this model

Standard puncture protection
An extra layer of rubberised casing under the tread: a barrier sufficient against most punctures, without hurting efficiency.
Grip Silica compound
Tread compound with nanostructured silica, tuned for each discipline. Its strength is grip, especially in the rain.
Airtight TR compound
Inner compound of nano-blocks, built into the casing, which holds air without a tube. It is what makes a tyre “tubeless ready”.
Nylon-reinforced sidewalls
A nylon ply on the sidewalls of gravel and XC tyres: protection against cuts and stability at low pressure.

Gravel Swampero, in a few words

What it does

The Swampero is the gravel tyre for greasy ground and rainy days. Soaked earth, ruts, damp woodland, wet grass: it is the only one of the three that keeps traction when the ground gives way.

The directional tread

Arrow-shaped knobs, pointing in the direction of travel, with overlapping centre knobs. That overlap is what lets the tyre roll fast on hard surfaces despite tall knobs: contact is never fully broken. And because the arrows open outwards, mud clears itself instead of packing between the blocks.

Casing and protection

210/375 TPI casing that smooths the terrain and avoids bounce, nylon layer on the sidewalls against stones, thick puncture-protection belt under the tread — on this kind of terrain, protection matters as much as grip. Tubeless ready, aramid beads, compatible with hookless rims. In 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm.
