Standard puncture protectionAn extra layer of rubberised casing under the tread: a barrier sufficient against most punctures, without hurting efficiency.
Grip Silica compoundTread compound with nanostructured silica, tuned for each discipline. Its strength is grip, especially in the rain.
Airtight TR compoundInner compound of nano-blocks, built into the casing, which holds air without a tube. It is what makes a tyre “tubeless ready”.

What it does
The XC11 TR SG is the all-round tyre of the cross-country and marathon range, developed with professional riders. It fits front or rear, on courses that mix singletrack, tracks and stretches of road — in other words, most real courses.
The tread
A low-drag pattern with open grooves that clean themselves. The knobs are low enough not to cost efficiency on hard ground, and spaced enough to clear the soil. It is a compromise, openly so: on a very muddy course an XC14 does better up front; on a very dry one an XC13 rolls better at the rear.
The construction
210/375 TPI casing, reinforced sidewalls against cuts, Grip Silica compound, standard puncture protection. Tubeless ready, aramid beads, compatible with hookless rims. 29 × 2.35, black or tan sidewalls.
