The XC14 for electric-assist MTBs: same tread, compound more resistant to torque.
The XC14 E-25 takes the directional tread and construction of the XC14 TR SG with a harder compound, made to take the torque and mass of an e-MTB. About a hundred grams more, no more. Hookless compatible.

The Tufo technology in this model
Standard puncture protectionAn extra layer of rubberised casing under the tread: a barrier sufficient against most punctures, without hurting efficiency.
Grip Silica compoundTread compound with nanostructured silica, tuned for each discipline. Its strength is grip, especially in the rain.
Airtight TR compoundInner compound of nano-blocks, built into the casing, which holds air without a tube. It is what makes a tyre “tubeless ready”.
Nylon-reinforced sidewallsA nylon ply on the sidewalls of gravel and XC tyres: protection against cuts and stability at low pressure.
XC14 E-25, in a few words
What it does
The XC14 E-25 is the XC14 for electric-assist mountain bikes. Same directional tread, same casing, but a reformulated compound to handle motor torque and the bike's extra mass.
Why a different compound
An e-MTB wears tyres differently: the torque applied to the rear wheel is higher and more continuous, the total mass is ten to fifteen kilos greater, and braking is harder. A standard racing compound breaks up quickly. The E-25's is harder: it gives up a little pure grip and gains a lot in lifespan.
The construction
210/375 TPI casing, reinforced sidewalls, tubeless ready, compatible with hookless rims. 29 × 2.35, 750 g — about a hundred grams more than the standard XC14, no more. Certified for e-MTB use (E-25 marking).
